Got tired of not having an overlay of the Jackson Purchase for our mapping. I am in the process of trying to digitize the Loughridge map. For those who don't know there is an area on the TN line that was subdivided in the Section Township Ranges. Does anyone have any good resources on this? ie Survey Instructions? I can't find anything at BLM. I have include an image of one county I found online which is just part of the Jackson Purchase. Hopefully when it's done we will have a good shapefile rubbersheeted to land lines. Also does anyone know where to find the coordinates for the TN/KY line for the GPS Survey done a few years back I think it was a joint project of TAPS and KAPS??ÿ

?ÿ

I have a digital copy of the entire Henderson survey, but it is too big to attach on the message board.?ÿ Internet is being slow right now, but I'll upload to Google drive and send you a link when speeds get back to being okay.?ÿ It is 215MB and covers the whole Purchase area.?ÿ It is a scan of a map that is noted as being on silk cloth and was archived in 1947.

I used to have a digital copy of research on the Henderson survey notes, but I have not been able to find it in forever.?ÿ I hope it is just backed up somewhere instead of lost.

In case anyone besides makerofmaps is also interested, here is a link to download the Henderson map from Google Drive.?ÿ As stated it is a 215 MB file, so it might take a minute.?ÿ I found this was noted as being stored on the Library of Congress website.?ÿ I requested a copy from the LOC and this is what they sent me.
