Check out this "range pole"
And, somebody called a plumb bob scabbard, a "holster". He must be watching re-runs of gunsmoke, or thinking about old west movies!
I'm ashamed!
Nate
Nate, you have always shown willingness to give people the benefit of the doubt.
Don't "brush" them off so quickly! ?????ÿ
The substitution of a broom handle, (you can even see the threads at the bottom!) Just caught me by suprise!
N
At least he's wanting to sell the tripod, not the so-called range pole.

You are right. Nowhere in his ad does he mention the "range pole".
But, the broom handle sent me into a "sweeping" fit of hysterical laughter!
N
IMHO, that "broom handle" is more like a telescopic pole with threaded end for a paint roller.
Well, @Richard Imrie
I think you are correct!!
(Nate revising his thinking.... Please wait.....
Thinking.....

Well it's obvious you ain't been in Home Depot or, my special place, WalMart lately. That yellar telescopic pole is either for a light bulb changer, a paint roller holder thingy, or a cobweb duster receptacle do dad....sheesh Natester. ?????ÿ
Natester, yer startin' to remind me of that dude with a bag over his head that was on the "Gong" show back when..... ?????ÿ

Isn't that "The Unknown Comic"?

One day, I'd like to travel to the USA and visit Home Depot and WalMart.
Surely you must have something that resembles them?
@bill93?ÿ
LOL, there is but not on the same scale. They have catchphrases like "where everyone gets a bargain" and "cost u less", which are inversely proportional to reality.
Last time I was in one, some "Lady" parked her trolley in front of the checkout, then went on probing, radial missions from that home-point, doing her shopping - class.
It's also very common to use a paint-pole as an antenna pole/extension when using RTK equipment.

I'd like and adaptor for the threads on a paint pole, to put 5/8x11 antenna on top. Do you know of any such adaptor?
Thanks,
Nate
@nate-the-surveyor If you have trouble finding one, grab a small length of 5/8" x 11TPI threaded rod and drill a hole into a paint pole end to receive.?ÿ Glue or epoxy will hold it well.?ÿ I bought a 2' piece of plastic threaded rod a few years ago and always find things like this to use it on.
I'm embarrassed I did not think of that.
I'd like a paint pole antenna mast.
Nate
Somebody should also mention that in a lot of online auctions there will be folk who criticize the product, with the aim of driving the price down and scaring off other bidders.

That happens here all the time, that or they are on the phone while fishing through their portable steamer chest (handbag) in search of an elusive credit card that's rejected for some odd reason, which, of course, is not their fault. ?????ÿ

I bet there's never been, and never will be, one male on this planet that knows more than 10% of what is in a woman's handbag.
