Hey guys, I'm a new user on the forum. I've been trolling around for the past year and finally decided to register. It is awesome to have somewhere to go and search through past discussions whenever I have a question about something going on in the office or in the field. I am a LSIT hoping to sit for the exam coming up in October.
I have recently started working for an Engineering company that primarily uses Microstation for everything. The Geopak Survey application is not very fun to use and has been an aggravation since I started trying to figure it out. It seems as though I have to go through 3 extra steps just to do simple functions that other software recognizes as basic commands. Anyway, we use the field to finish function which I have learned to love. I have a TDS Ranger running Survey Pro and was wondering if anyone has ever gotten the auto linework function to work with customized commands (begin, end, curve line). We already have a .smd file setup to read the line-point codes once they are imported into Geopak and I was wondering if we could just use the same codes in Survey Pro. I am just not sure how to do it. Thanks for any help.
