On-site today a neighbor strolls up and asks what we are doing...very politely. I say, "Doing a little surveying for Mrs. Hatfield." Then the rodman pops up with, "Yea, the feud's getting started up again. Are you a McCoy ?" The guy was a bit startled, then laughed and said, "No. I'm a Woolery. Don't know any McCoy's around here."
I was surprised at myself for not making the Hatfield/McCoy connection myself. Usually, I'm the smart butt who thinks of stuff like that.
