NC is plagued by pre 1970 strip lot subdivision plats.?ÿ Most that I encounter were stamped by an engineer and lack original monumentation.?ÿ I'm embarrassed at how long it took me to bill by the hour or add a couple thousand dollars to the estimate.?ÿ When people ask, "Why is it going to cost so much??ÿ It's only an acre."?ÿ I respond, "The most difficult survey I've ever been involved with concerned one quarter of an acre in a strip lot subdivision similar to yours."
