Greetings,

A nearby county has been posting .tif images of all the surveys they have on file. Now, they have changed the image file format to something with a .djvu extension.

I can open .tif and .bmp files with no problem, but I haven't heard of the new format just yet.

What program do I need to open and save the file to a .tif format? It's only one file.

Thanks

Bob

Don't know much about it, but you might take a look at DjVu.org for a list of programs that might be useful.
There's a Windows AcriveX, for one.

Good luck--

Irfanview says it can open that file.

Send it to me and I'll give it a go.

Like Jeff said, get the Irfanview driver. Dejavu actually bought out LizardTech who had developed the Mr. Sid compression format. That's what you really have, is a Mr. Sid formatted .TIFF. This compression saves huge bandwidth. It is kinda like a .ZIP format for images.

Hi Jeff,

I found a link buried on the county's ROD page for a viewer that opened the file. Thanks for the offer to help. It is appreciated.
