The Loch Leven Lakes trail, very nice.
Of course I spotted a yellow Location Poster on a tree.
The aluminum monument at the quarter corner between Section 4 & 5 (at the edge of a meadow-nice place to do a long static session, Get Plenty of Sleep would apply) stamped RCE27900.
This is true-it turns out his last name is Groundwater! A good last name for a Civil Engineer.
Edit-except I just looked at the photo and it is RCE29700, oh well. Mr. Groundwater didn't set it.

I happen to know a surveyor with the last name Freshwaters.
He sometimes does flood plain surveys and elevation certificates.
That seems to be fitting! 😉
