Wed. I got a ring-ring from a realtor about a price for a job out west of town. From her discription and location it falls in an area of the valley that is notorious for pin cushioned corners and was the playground for previous professionals who were apparently determined to not agree with anyone....
it's a 20ac. +/- aliquot part, less highway rw. (hwy survey in the mid '50s) the parcel itselfs never been surveyed, but the north and south lines are/were run as
part of seperate surveys by others- (refer to previous paragraph) time frame is 2.5 weeks. the parcel is moderate rolling and wooded.
I explain the review process timeframe ,+/- 1.5 weeks and tell her my guess is $####-$####, depending on what I actaully find onsite.
"$####-$####, huh, ok well I'll talk with client and get back with you."
I haven't heard back....
You won't unless you happen to know the owner of the property.;-)
Made the call-
She said the buyer is going ahead without a survey, apparently since the title company told them they'd have to have a full alta to be insured w/o exception and that price was more than they were interested in.
well- at least I wasn't lowballed..... that I know of.....yet.....
