In the worst ways.

I have a client/family friend who had 2 camps on the barrier beach but lost them due to erosion. They still own land and I surveyed it. They just contacted me for the coordinates so they could rough it out and rope off part of it for private beach purposes. I told them to be careful for their GPS cannot get close enough for staking. I then asked what format they needed the coordinates in and provided a few example.
They claimed I was writing in Russian.
So I asked what phone and GPS program they were to use.
They replied that they will ask their kids and get back to me.

I have an attorney friend who specializes in Estates. A client passed and the children want to sell a couple acres the father may have owned. Title nightmare and I provided an excerpt from the title report. A 79 page excerpt. We had the opportunity to help resolve the title and location years ago, but declined as the title is so messy it will cost more to fix than the land is worth. The attorney thanked me, cursed and said this is why she avoids real estate law.

So is everyone else being helpful in the least helpful ways?
