I have been utilizing Civil 3D (different versions) for years however the only one software I ever utilized for map calculations, property lines adjustments, setting up staling, etc was Land Desktop 2009.
It is eventually is going to die because the Autodesk doesn't support this software anymore and all new computer updates keep creating more and more problems with this software.
I do not believe I ever heart from anybody (surveyors) that they are happy with Civil 3D for survey part.
The question I always ask myself is why Autodesk decided to cut off all land surveyors back in 2009 and push them to Carlson (competitor).
So I guess the next one will be Carlson.
The thing I find interesting is that it is always the civil engineers that don't use Civil3D. They're the ones that could benefit the most from those tools!
