Im posting in another forum now and then.
I finally got back that Orange County CR I submitted. It came back with a nice letter, an example corner record sheet, with the bold blak line on the back and the nice little blue hatching.
The letter was signed and sealed by a Female PLS..suprise to me!
Anyway..the comments they had were:
Sign the corner record! Ok I can agree to that LOL. Put record distances of the ramsets, that you decided to shoot and file to help the next guy out, on the CR.
NAW...thats not happening.
So I call the guy and tell him that LA County doesnt want a border! Do you also want the blue hatching?
He says "No, not the hatching" I ask him why he takes part of the silly act with the outdated CR form, in part and not in whole . Border and blue hatching, or none at all.
So..I squeezed the CR, placed a border, placed a note. Some LS's have lost contact with what being an LS is.
In OC all submittals are to be signed and sealed. That has been S.O.P. there for quite some time and has spread to a couple other counties around here too.
What is the other forum?
some Counties will accept a border sheet for the map and some want the 1" border which really cramps the map.
I don't file very many CRs those, mostly R/Ss.
