and it did get my attention.:bored:
I still haven't found a supplier for Epi-pens without a prescription. I would like to keep them in the first aid kits.
We're locating all the towers on a lonely hill 'antenna farm' with precise heights. Every one (there's seven) of the equipment enclosures has this sign. I'm so jumpy I've been hearing "buzzing" all evening....
How should we survey prior to the survey if we're there to survey?

Replace "africanized bees" with "mad cows" and illustrations of unhappy bovines. Saying something "could" be present is a worthless statement. Something along the lines of,"poisonous snakes have been found from time to time in and near this vicinity" would be much more suggestive to me of a potential threat.
I'm quite jumpy around anything that buzzes near my ears as well.
I wouldn't think you should have a big problem getting epi-pens. Just go see the Dr. and tell him what you're up against. Unless you or any in your crew might be allergic to epinephrine. In the mean time you can get a large amount of over-the-counter Benadryl (diphenhydramine HCL). It may keep someone breathing while you get to the ER.
As to bizarre signs, there was a guy across the street from my first big DOT bridge job saying "Oxygen in use. No smoking." I was told the guy had emphysema. He was the one sitting there on the front porch with the O2 helper tube up his nose AND he was the one smoking!!!! I heard he set himself on fire one day doing that. I later heard he incidentally/accidentally removed himself from the "gene pool" so to speak. Yeah, there's one for the Darwin awards!
I'm not unlocking the doors. no way.

Chicken or Egg?:-/
If a bee can open my truck door he can have my truck. I don't care if it's locked or not. 😉
Ephinephrine
Can be purchased without a prescription from Canada. I purchased one myself there about 15 years ago...never had to use it.

You could have been an artist...............and have starved to death long ago.
Thanks for the mad cow sign. I will have to share that with a few select cattlemen I know.
I believe most Doctors would prescribe one under those circumstances.
I keep bees. Why don't you buy some bee suits and work in them? They are about $70 online and come in many sizes. If you go this route, get a size or two larger than you would normally wear clothes in so you can move easier.
Bees like the electricity and the small holes.
"Pull vehicle inside fence", I wonder if that sign is for workers working on equipment? It would make sense that you wouldn't want to have to run around a fence to get to shelter.
Usually the instructions are there for folks who haven't thought an incident through. It's just like leaving the doors unlocked. You don't want to be fumbling with keys while being stung to death. It's also easier for the EMT to shock you back from the light if he doesn't have to break into the truck to reach you...
Don't have them up here, but I did press on what I thought was the top of a monument the other day only to discover it was a yellow jacket nest......that was fun!
