5000 ' of 4 lane road with median . Curb and Gutter . has storm , water and sewer. Road is a local road industrial subdivision . I know its not much but to go on . Estimated cost is 12 mil.
How does $80,000.0 sound .

To do what? Pre-design topo or construction staking?

For pre-design topo I'd say $80,000 is high. I'd be looking at close to half that. For construction staking you are probably low by half.

Depending on the scope of the project I would say $120k would be on the low side. Generally road projects bid right around 1-2% for layout. It is obviously extremely hard to say by only looking at the bottom line.

20K would be the most you would get in my area.

I agree 5000' of water and sanitary, maybe 7500 feet of storm, and 5000 feet of back of curb offsets, if you have to stake the curb for the subgrade and then again for the pavement you might get 30K.

Of course in our area it is nice and clear and flat. However you have to be very careful with the storm and pavement since you can have grades as small as .13%.
