Been a while since I fired her up. Started a new project. When I went to define the coordinate system, I saw this:
It reads: "The callee (server [not server application]) is not available and disappeared; all connections are invalid. The call did not execute."
Huh? As far as I can tell, the program is loaded locally on my machine. Any thoughts?
(At first, I thought I'd be OK, since I could just let the data collector's coordinate system definition stand, but I can't import any flavor of files whatsoever. TGO just hangs up and I have to force close.)
Guess it's a good thing that I signed up for a free 30 day trial of Trimble Business Center. Not sure we have the $$$ to upgrade for reals, though. :pinch:

ETA: Looks like it could be a Kaspersky conflict.
ah yes, "internet security" theater which mostly bogs your computer down and makes it unable to do what it is intended for in the first place.
Pretty soon computers just become a reason for the existence of I.T. support.
