Hello, Please forgive me in advance if this is a bit of a dumb question. I have just been given a construction drawing with Northings and Eastings. I am attempting to bring in a google map. Typically this outfit provides us the coordinates in NAD 83 and UTM. This drawing does not indicate the grid type. The Northings seem to be correct or close to it however the eastings are short 1 digit. Is there a grid type I would be unaware of that would do this. Lessen the eastings 1 digit. If I add a digit to the easting and run the northings and eastings as such I get a pin drop very close to where it should be but not exact and not quite the correct length.?ÿ

There are a lot of things this could be. Not all coordinate systems?ÿ are tied to an agency datum. But it sounds like -maybe - that your coordinates have been truncated by the leading digit in the easting. That is something that is commonly done when grid coordinates have been "scaled to ground". It makes them dramatically different from the source grid coordinates to avoid confusion. But there is no way for us to really tell.?ÿ Suggest you go back to the source surveyor and ask there.
I have discovered that the provided coordinates were in NAD 83-3TM-114W, I know just need to figure out how to convert those to NAD 83 UTM Zone 12N

NRCan should likely have something.
I often use Global Mapper to convert files between coordinate systems:

When I worked at MMM Group they had a program internally coded that would translate between NAD27, NAD83 and NAD83CSRS using the grid shift files.?ÿ Made it easy for the chiefs to work in the system of choice.
Check your company's server.?ÿ There's likely an old, buried DOS program that will do the same.

Make sure you have some points in the translation file to act as a check.?ÿ I've never used the service.
