Has anyone done an Elevation Certificate, where the property had an inground pool?

A first for me, and was wondering if there is anything I will need to look out for??ÿ

Thanks, In Advance; to all the good people on this board. I really appreciate every one here.

I've done hundreds.... never had to comment on a pool?ÿ ?ÿ

?ÿ

EDIT.... When building a pool on the Gulf Coast, some require pilings driven to prevent uplift.?ÿ ?ÿSo those needed to be verified, but still not really noted on an EC.?ÿ ?ÿ Where would you even put pool info??ÿ ?ÿ

My sister owned a house for about 15 years that had an inground, indoor swimming pool.?ÿ Not in a flood plain, but close to a small watercourse.

Like @andy-j, I've done numerous with inground pools.?ÿ You don't have to do anything special, except record the pad elevation of the filter/pump.

I think I may mention it in the comments if it were close to the house, but otherwise nothing special. Once I realized that Elevations Certificates were on a Building as opposed to a Property, I started to approach the work much differently. Just because the property has a mother in law house (here called ADU) or a shop doesn't mean I have to show all of it's info as well. Just the building/structure I am certifying.?ÿ

@andy-j?ÿ

All but one of the EC's I've done have been at 300' MSL or above, with Flood Zones and Special Flood Hazard Zones being the product of the Mississippi or Tennessee Rivers or tributaries.?ÿ?ÿ

All of mine have been above 850 msl.

record the pad elevation of the filter/pump.

I note this in the comments section. Akin to jet pumped wells serving for home's water supply, but remote from the structure. My understanding is the agent/ underwriter can include coverage for the non-essential (pool) items if requested by the owner.

A couple of times we have had to go back to do another building that is separate from the house, but, probably worth more than the house.

I can't recall a single time where I put the elevation of a pool or equipment servicing a pool on an elevation certificate.?ÿ Ever.?ÿ And nearly 100% of my projects were in an A or VE zone.?ÿ ?ÿNo one ever asked either.?ÿ?ÿ

Same here, practically every new house in FL has a pool. Never a question about them from anyone. ?????ÿ
