is anyone else having trouble w/ dsworld version 3? i get an active x error, can't create object. scratching my head
Working fine here...
I could not get it to install on my XP desktop computer. It kept saying that certain files were out of date, and asked me if I wanted the program to update the files. I clicked yes, and it rebooted, but could not get it to install. I had to use version 2.10 I believe, on that computer.
Version 3 works fine on the Vista laptop
The problem I've had with a number of NGS applications is that the installation defaults to a folder in the root directory. With default permissions, Windows 7 jealously guards the root folder and interferes with installs and updates there, even when you're logged in as an admin.
I never had this problem with XP, so maybe yours is a different issue.
