I don't know what it is about drafting or if it's just the general mood it will put me in (due to fighting C3D style issues & viewports probably) but I usually end up listening to a mix of Cody Jinks, Jamey Johnson & Creed Fisher via a youtube mix that they must have felt better reflected my tastes in country music haha. I've given up on pop country but unfortunately that's about all the FM radio plays in my truck.

But hearing Jamey Johnson's song "in color" just now (randomly popped in there) always reminds me of my grandpa as well as his brother (my great Uncle Cecil), their other siblings & all their spouses who all grew up in the midst of the depression & their memories give me hope for the future & appreciation for what all I've got. Some of the toughest people I've ever known - they grew up in a county just north of here watching chickens run under the home that had gaps between the floor boards as the kids of a tennant farmer (my great grandparents). One of the siblings was born premature so they placed him in a shoebox & kept in warm/incubated in a wood burning stove until all was well but they'd always joke that he was only "half-baked" as he was a little crazy haha. They all eventually went on to do other things besides farming & become successful in their own ways but they never stopped growing & canning their own vegetables from what I could tell. My great uncle died with a storehouse slam full of provisions they'd stored away as well as multiple freezers full of bagged crops & fruits. When my grandfather passed we found multiple stashes of cash & hundred dollar bills sewn into the drapes & curtains. Those people knew hard times
