I learn something new practically every day on here.?ÿ I had never heard of page wire fencing.?ÿ It's referred to as woven wire fencing in this area.?ÿ Had to look it up.?ÿ I'm going to have to tell my friends, the Page brothers, about that terminology and see if they had ever heard of it.

It's also becoming more of a standard to increase the gap between the top wire and the next one down to allow a deer to miss miss the lower wire with a hind leg when it jumps the fence. Otherwise it can poke the rear leg between the wires and as it clears the fence get that leg caught like in a trap. Moving the top two wires apart a bit allows the hoof to clear and not break the leg or trap the deer in the fence.?ÿ
