I would need a step mounted on the side to reach the bottom of that box to keep my belt buckle from ruining the paint.

I ordered it direct through diamondback. shipped fedex to my office. I think the pallet weighed more than the aluminum.

well-made covers - we have the heavy-duty model on one of our trucks. Bought that one specifically to be able to carry a quad on top of the lid. only 2 issues the crew using that truck has - the hydraulic arms are not stiff enough, and reaching the center of the box is more diffucult than with a Silver Shield. I would say security is better, and appearance of these Diamondback covers is very sharp. I do like the new Herculoc lid - looks like a good option also.
