Does anyone know of or use a cross section field book with light grid lines?

My company supplies us with the Sokkia No. 8152-75. I have also tried the Elan E10x10K.?ÿ

The grid lines show up way too dark on copies and pictures, and I feel like my pencil is constantly doing battle with the gridlines on the sketches. I already use 2B lead, and that's as soft as I can go in that department.

I can find graph paper with lighter lines, but I have to work in a bound field book here.

Take the graph paper you like, use a 3 hole puncher, then put them in a blinder.?ÿ

I sorta think the change was not in the gridlines, in the book.

I think it was the advent of digital copiers, that address those faint blue lines, and are enhancing them automatically.

Just me 2 centavos.

I'm looking at a Peninsular FB 802-N book next to an Elan E64-8x4 book.?ÿ The grid lines in the Peninsular book are much lighter than the Elan book.?ÿ Grid lines in a K & E?ÿ book 82 0032 are maybe a little lighter than the Elan book.?ÿ

The "N" on the Peninsular books stands for numbered pages.?ÿ?ÿ

Try setting your copier at a lesser density ink setting or perhaps making color copies.

You can also scan the documents and use Paint or other image editor to change the color settings before printing them.
