Check out Craftsmens lighted pliers.

What a good idea.

Maybe someone could hook up a LED light on a rod for seeing into dark structures. Just keep it out of the poop.

My take...rather than having 3 watch batteries and an LED bulb in every tool, why not just have 3 batteries and an LED mounted on your head that focuses the light right where you are looking with every tool you are using. Seems like you could save alot of batteries that way. Just saying......JRL

That way you would not have to point your pliers to see the way to the bathroom to get bandages or the kitchen for a cold beer.

Gotta leverage existing technology. Ever heard of zip ties and duct tape?

This is cool! As far as just placing an LED on your hat, I don't like doing that. I find it obstructs my vision more and I prefer to have the individual tool I'm using be lighted. I have a lighted magnetic screwdriver that has been a lifesaver in certain situations. The fact that it is Craftsman also tells me that it's good quality and would last a lifetime. Just my 2 cents.
