This corner is located 3/4 mile north (1000 feet lower) of the Summit Trailhead in Sequoia Nation Forest. It is a steady 25% grade on the cross country hike. Summit Trailhead is at the end of Forest Road 21S50, 11 miles north of Quaking Aspen Campground on Route 190, Tulare County, California.
The original monument was found and perpetuated by Dan Seamount, LS3248 in 1985.
We visited it and tied it in with R12i receivers on Tuesday.
That'll keep you in shape!
For anyone not familiar with this type of quad sheet it's a 40' contour quad. It means those ridges are BIG. And Steep!! Kinda makes me tired looking at it.?ÿ
I got a nose bleed from the high elevation just looking at the pictures.?ÿ Would have to fly me by helicopter on a rope, both coming and going.?ÿ That would be excitement enough.
