A few times I've read about some language some of you include in your contracts. I can't seem to find the threads now. What I'm looking for is concerning stopping work when unexpected problems are encountered. Negotiation of fee to resolve the problem takes place, then, upon resolution, the original contract is continued.
Any help is appreciated!

Here's what I use: "Should unusual circumstances make it infeasible to locate any parcel boundaries in question, the client will be notified and advised of his/her options. Should he/she elect not to proceed, work in place will be payable immediately at hourly rates."
