I found a USCE Monument at the corner of a bridge at Powers Ferry Road and Nancy Creek in Atlanta, GA. It is marked 4-TML-9 (1964). I can not find a listing for this monument. I most likely will not use the information, but would like the listing to compare with elevation we from the CORS, so we can go ahead and plainly show the discrepancy. Does anyone know a site where this information is posted. I tried the COE USMART site with no luck.

Thanks

As near as I have been able to tell, the COE has very little published on-line concerning their monumentation. I use to have a contact at our local (Tulsa) office that could usually find the notes and run me copies of what he was able to dig up. With all the hundreds of reservoirs the Corps built here in Oklahoma, it's not uncommon to run into their stuff still to this day. But alas he retired (ten years ago) and the newer status-quo have no idea how (or desire) to actually help some dawdling citizen over the phone. Good luck and let us know if you find anything.

You will most likely need to contact the District Office of the COE that controls that area.

They will probably send you PDFs of the maps if you request them from their inhouse Surveyor or Map Director.

The Forth Worth and New Orleans offices have been very helpful in the past.

The local COE Manager at the lake will have maps to view in their office and should know the details of information to that monument.
