cadastral electronic field book.
Anybody know if the BLM still uses this and if so what platform it is run on currently?

Some offices still use it, or all offices use it in varying degrees.
It is designed to run on DOS platforms and a 16x40 screen. The most common platform is probably still the HP-200, and it has been run on HP-100's and HP-95's all out of production. There are also other dos handhelds. It can be made to run with some work under DOS emulation on windows CE or mobile windows platforms. The trick there would be setting up the instrument interface.
