has anybody had any success hooking up a carlson surveyor plus to a pc to xfer files?
i got a cord but curious how bluetooth would/could work

Nope, never tried. USB works too easy to even bother with other methods.
Yup, and I wrote a step-by-step on it for a User Manual I have been working on.

The instructions are for another DC, but the process is EXACTLY the same on the Surveyor+.
I have a few DC's that won't active-sync or Windows Mobile Device Center anymore. So I have to download by Bluetooth. When I got my latest laptop, I paid $12 extra (really) to have Bluetooth built in. I am glad I did because I use it all the time.

I use the bluetooth from the data collector to my cell phone from time to time. Someone from the office will email me a .csv file, I check the email with my phone then transfer it to the date collector . I am sure transfer to a PC would be the same.
