Carlson SurvCE Feature Codes to work with Liscad

I am not super familiar w/ LISCAD, but you can tailor the Feature Code List to use any Special Codes you like.?ÿ We replaced the Carlson ones with the Civil3D Survey Database ones as our crews were already familiar with them.?ÿ Save the FCL and then distribute to all your equipment.?ÿ It can be done on the DC instead of in Survey, but it does not give you as many features and it's more cumbersome to create the FLC file.?ÿ That being said, that was how we created ours.

Hi Everyone, I use Carlson SurvCE V5.08 for field data collection. Recently got Liscad CAD package and trying to learn to deliver a finished product with these combo. I usually export a csv file from SurvCE and import in Liscad See. This enables to do edits, modeling, contours and computations. The drawing then exports in Liscad CAD to prepare a deliverable drawing.

I know many members in this forum are very good with Carlson.

My initial question: "How can I prepare or get a feature code list to support with this?"

I've just been battling with a new version of SurvCE and have been using LisCAD 10.0 (with Leica Viva) for years but cannot for the life of me figure out a clean system to get the SurvCE feature codes/linework and tree attributes to work.

How do you export a .csv from SurvCE? I can get every .txt file or .RW5 to export but nothing besides a basic askii work at all and even then I have to manually go through and separate out the code from the line number...

My Carlson dealer doesn't know LisCAD and none of my LisCAD people know SurvCE...

Super stuck if you've got any advice...
