For the past couple of weeks, when transferring crd files from the server to the data collector via activesync, the file seems to arrive fine. When opening the file in the data collector, points list is empty? Does this with both the Carlson Explorer II & Carlson Surveyor + data collectors. Any ideas at all? Becoming much more consistent these days. Thanks in advance!

I've not seen this behavior (and actually went through the process this morning for some client training). I would:

1. Make sure you've exited from Carlson on the office side and make sure SurvCE is not running on the collector side prior to initiating the ActiveSync transfer, and/or,

2. Click on the ActiveSync Tools -- Advanced Tools -- Edit File Conversion Settings and see if the CRD file format is somehow being manipulated through the ActiveSync process (check the Desktop to Device tab at a minimum):

3. Probably not as likely but I'd make sure you have adequate disk space on either collector to make sure it has the ability to fully receive the file(s) you are sending it.

If that doesn't shed any light on the problem, feel free to send me samples of what you're starting with on the office side and what you're ending up with on the collector side and I'll see if the file differences sheds any light on the problem.
