I can not connect a Carlson surveyor + to my Topcon gts 302D total station. Is there anyone that can help me out with the settings? I am using the 9 pin chord but I have to be missing something simple. Thank you in advance

Then:
Those COM settings are unalterable in older Topcon Instruments. That may be the bad news but the good news is that they are correct for all of them with very rare exception.
