Would you like to download at no fee Building Codes from around the country? Because of a lawsuit making mandatory codes ACCESSABLE to public, you can now download them. I paid over $250 for my 2007 California Building/Mechanical Codes, yet the 2010 Codes are on this website for free!

http://bulk.resource.org/codes.gov/

This website has the 2009 IBC errata plus the 2010 CBC supplements you might need.

It's about time!!
That sort of info should be available to the public without cost.
I've helped a number of houses and a bunch of major remodels. Code questions always came up. Especially on one remodel where some rather substantial electrical work was involved. I got tagged with doing all of it being the only one with electrical experience.
Fortunately the lady had a son-in-law visiting who was a licensed electrician. I had him review my work before I closed the walls back up while I was out on a materials run. HE said I did fine so I finished up.
