I made a short weekend trip to the Black Hills and was able to climb one small peak. I didn't have any datasheets along, but guessed there might be a triangulation station up there and was rewarded with finding this one after a little searching.

Silly woman. Just think of all the better things she could have been doing instead of climbing some Godforesaken chunk of topography over 500 miles from home. She must have a serious case of love going for her intrepid hubby.

Actually I travel 500 miles to see Jenny who lives in Rapid City. Finding the survey markers around there is just a bonus! 🙂

I wonder if they had to build a Bilby Tower over that mark. If so I wouldn't want to be the one to have to crank the angles up there.
