I'm trialling SurveCe and having trouble with 'angles' convention.
This is Aussie lingo and we work in full 360° bearings - 0° = north, and clockwise increasing to 360°.
I have fiddled with all the settings in 'Job Settings/ Format' that I can find but when I Inverse between points it always comes up with egs S60°0'0"E as opposed to what I want 120°0'0". Changing from 'Bearing' to 'Azimuth' doesn't alter the output in Cogo.

I've shut down and restarted Carlson but no change is evident.

Help is appreciated thank.

Thanks for reply.
I am using a Nautiz X7 and I see the first screen of yours above is truncated in my machine. Clicking at right side of window scrolls it to end and I can then see the Nazimuth.
Had missed that.
Menu display has full as listed. I hadn't used that input.
I'm used to Field Genius so its quite a change.
Will plough on though.

On that note is there a way to rearrange the order of reporting for us 'DownUnder' users that use North azimuths only?

regards
Richard

Hi Richard,

Carlson has a build of SurvCE for the Nautiz (and the Getac) that should better fit the screen. If you've not had a chance to do so, visit the Carlson SurvCE Resource Center ( http://www.survce.com ) and use your SurvCE serial number to access the Product Download page. The build for the Nautiz should be #21 on that list.

Regardless, I'll relay your wishes and findings into programming.

Thanks Ladd
I did use SurveCe_Getac.exe to install.
I'll download again and uninstall and reinstall and hopefully that will fix the issue with screen.
regards
Richard
