Currently 9 but feels like -7. Snow is 99 percent done. Driest powder imaginable that might be a half-inch deep. Whoop Tee Doo.
8:00 a.m. and -5. The good news is that the wind speed is 0. That's better than 3:00 a.m. when it was 2 and felt like -12.
I honestly don't remember the last time we hit negative digits. Two or three years I would guess.
Saw a wooly mammoth walk past the window a few minutes ago.

So how much "antifreeze" did you put in your morning coffee?
Sorry to have to say none of each. No longer consume either of those things. Yes, life is boring.

Do y'all even get out from under the bed covers when it's this cold? I don't understand how one would survive in that type of cold. Yer getten' froze to death by choice. 😉 You guy's take care!
I'm not quite sure how y'all handle those temps. I wouldn't even get out of bed. Looks like it's headed our way, hopefully it will just be rain.

He didn't say it was a pink wooly mammoth.
it plummeted to 42 degrees F here last night. Luckily the sun is just now warming us up.
Climate Change is brutal no matter where you are.

I've got some friends in Newport Beach that gripe and moan about the cold if it drops below 50. I bet their teeth are chattering this morning....
At 10:00 a.m. it is 4 and feels like 3. Shooting for a high of 18 before sliding back to 6 tonight. Monday, Tuesday Wednesday highs to be about 32, 41 and 47. Maybe 50 by Friday.
This will help to set back the bug count next summer.

Amen. It helps with bulb plants in the flowerbeds, also. As brutal as a cold snap it is, it's all part of the big plan. Did you get out this morning and bust the ice for all the critters?
Springs are the secret to success in this kind of weather. No ice chopping for this guy.
even here "where the palm trees meet the pine" people die from the cold. especially the elderly.
go check on your neighbors and friends.

She was shooting her old 870 and couldn't feel the shells as she tried to load the gun so she just tried to roll them into the chamber. Dang. I shoot skeet for fun. If it's that cold I'm not leaving the house, much less trying to load and shoot a gun with four layers of clothes on.
Andy
It was 77 degrees and sunny yesterday. Had the company Christmas party outdoors. Fish fry with all the fixings.
Cold front moving through tonight. Tomorrow will be a frigid 51 degrees..........
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you...
-7å¡ when we shot this morning. Wasn't so bad. Wind hadn't kicked in yet. One of my guys shot 25 out of 25. We won. Damned targets were hard to break for me though. And the Packers won too.. Great day.
Zero at 8:15 a.m. No wind. No crew coming in, Thank God!!
Seem to have a respiratory infection type of thing at about the stage two-days of too many. Wish there was a one-hour fix for that problem.
