Okay here's the story. I have two Leica GPS receivers(RX 1250x)that are receiving data and everything is normal, except when i pull the info from the cf card it gives a 1993 date. I have seen a thread where a 500 series did that and it was the internal batteries. Anyone else seen this problem? What fix?

I am no GPS guru by any means, however I have seen similar issues in the past. Is it possible that you are recording data before the receiver has synced itself with GPS time via the satellites it is tracking?

I await others with more knowledge with regards to GPS to chime in.

Do you use these receivers often? Or have they been sitting on the shelf for a while.

we had some when the data collector had a bad date
i still have no idea how the data collector was set to 2023...
