Working in a typical rural section....again. In 1995, I split off a small tract from an 80-acre tract. A year later we went back to the same tract to do an Improvement Location Certificate. In 1999, we split off another tract in the far corner of the same quarter section. At that time we found a stone at the center of section. Last year, the current owner of the 1995 tract had us find her boundaries. Her adjoiner then built a very good cattle fence all the way around her tract, except the road, of course. Now the adjoiner wants us to split off his house and three or four acres abutting this same tract. This time we actually get to go find the stone from 1999 again to set the south line of the parcel he wants to separate.
So. I set the bars in 1995. Found them in 1996. Found them again in 2011. Now I get to find them again in 2012. Amazingly, they haven't moved 0.001 feet in any direction since 1995. Shocking, huh?
.004 I could see, but 0.001'? ...wow man you're good 🙂
Ah the sweet satisfaction of a job well done (& verified) (& verified again).
