Good evening,

Just wondering if anyone out there uses the TDS SurveyPro leveling module to record their level runs? If so, how do you handle your raw data? I have Survey Link but can not seem to get the Level Loop Closure Report to work with the raw data being produced. When I view the raw data in Survey Link all of the level lines are listed as "invalid".

It seems like the newer version of Survey Pro may be coding the level data in a way that Survey Link dosn't recognize. I am looking for a way to view the level data in a more user friendly manner... and it would be nice to edit/adjust/process the data in some maner. Just wondering if anyone else uses this Level Module and how they go about working with the raw data. We currently use a Topcon DL-102c and it does not have the most user friendly on-board data collector. Using the TDS Ranger is much easier and there seem to be many benefits to having all of the job's data in one place. It dosn't do me any good if I can't work with the results at all though...

Thanks for any input you may have!

I think that you probably need the current version of Foresight DXM.

Jimmy, I had the most recent version of DXM and it screwed up the files (3.31 I believe). I had to use your older version which worked fine.

I don't remember which version is the "latest" I only know that the latest didn't work. It may be 3.4 something... I dunno...

We use the Survey Pro level module on a Ranger(TSC2) with a DiNi07. I use Foresite DXM to create a level report and then copy and paste the data into excel where I format it for STARNET. It's pretty simple for the runs but if there is a lot of sideshots it can be a little tedious.

I think we now have the STARNET TDS level converter for converting the TDS raw data into a STARNET file but we haven't done any level work for a while.

Have you tried the Spectra Precision Office?
