I have a client that would like to do some topographic mapping outside of Big Spring Texas. I have told them that I would do the initial mapping and coordinate with someone local to do boundary and pick up field work as needed.

I'm looking for someone that can help me out a bit. If this happens I will need someone to set pre-marks for the aerial photography. I would need someone to provide any boundary services that may potentially arise. I can not imagine that it will not need any but the client has not said it will yet. Finally, I would need someone that can provide field work required after we do the initial mapping. The site is approximately 370 acres.

I would plan on coming in and set up a control network, do some detailed mapping along the railroad, pick up utilities and collect some verification shots in the aerial mapping areas.

Thanks in advance for your help and not flaming me for rolling into town and under bidding the locals. This is just a long time client that likes my work.

Big Spring

Be careful if you're going to be in the Seay Blocks. The construction is unique.

The blow sand hedgerows northwest of town are a major pain in the butt too.

There is a road in eastern El Paso County, Colorado named Big Springs. One of the first surveys I did here in Colorado was on that road. The subject of this thread gave me the willies.
