Does anyone know where to get those 6' extruded aluminum post that the Forest Service used to mark there boundaries.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I must have set HUNDREDS of those babies back in the early 70s with the USFS, but I have no idea where the USFS bought them.

Much (MUCH) easier to pack around than steel T-Posts, but?ÿa PITA to drive in rocky ground.

Good luck, let us know if you find a supplier.

I spent some time tracking them down the other day just to get a price for a quote. Glad I could save you the agrivation of trying to figure out how to Google them!

that used to be our spec- but we bailed on it when the price was about $7.50 each- plus the 4x6 placard- as stateted elsewhere, now we use conduit and decals.
