What is your opinion of using the titleblock of a survey broker to delivery your survey?

If they don't have a surveyor's Certificate of Authorization from your state, it's probably illegal.

I'll use their title block, but I also insert mine below my signature.

As long as the survey says it was prepared by you..and not them...I do not have a problem with it. Work is work. I have done work for major corporations that want there corporate title block... i see no difference.

Did it one time about 15 years ago. There were no repercussions. Probably wouldn't do it again today, but, I might. In that specific case, there were hundreds of properties involved in dozens of states. There was a definite need for uniformity in platting.

Those prigs waltz in and take the food out of the mouths of the local surveyors. In my area it is unlawful for locals to select professional services based solely on price. These sods dance around that. We have one roaming our area and the local users are having problems with their work. GOOD!! You get what you pay for.
I would not do work for any of them. They can all kiss my grits!! :pissed:

They want to give their client the impression that they have an office in every locality. If they are not licensed to practice in your state, do you really want to assist with the deception?

I do my surveys on my title block only. No exceptions. It has cost me business, but I won't bend.
