The Allegro uses what it calls "an intelligent battery gauging circuit" that maintains and manages the batteries.

Works great on factory batteries and recells or whatever as long as the values in the management box are entered correctly.

When it gets a read that does not comply with the default entries and the current charge of the battery, it sends out a fault box.

If it keeps up, pull the battery for a few seconds and let the battery manager reset and then insert the battery again and when the battery management window opens, enter the correct values for battery level and capacity mAh of the battery.

The default is a 3800 mAh battery. I have a 4200 mAh battery that will make the battery manager go nuts if I don't enter in the correct value.

I just got that on a Surveyor 2. I had to update the operating system to resolve it.
