It does look like they are registered in several states.
I knew those folks back in the 70's and 80's when they had one office in Mobile, AL and had good things to say about them.
They are not the only firm who is advertising nationwide and seems to be a trend and business plan for firms to create more revenue (including title companies).
Multi-state licensure is the new normal. I see a handful claiming 'nationwide' licensure, but for most it's an exaggeration...
Advertising nation wide is a good move. Being at a large firm myself, I'm getting RFPs from firms in New Jersey, and the Carolinas, who are performing work in Texas.

@squirl You do need to word national adverts carefully. Many States require a certificate of authorization prior to offering or advertising professional services. The majority start with a cease and desist and only elevate to charges of unlicensed practice if you don't adjust to meet the law.
