Is that the only place they could of put that snow pile, right at the end of our boundaries hedgerow???
I told him the deed called for a pin and that boy just started digging! I probably should go back and get him soon.
We have had almost 13' of snow so far this year and expect another foot tomorrow.
When I told him we would only do the road work today and come back over the weekend with the snowmobiles to finish the 60 ac. on a hill, he was very happy!!!
Can't wait till spring:-D
Great post, Thanks for sharing. We just got about 1/2 of an inch of snow and I'm happy.
That second picture is just so true. Either snow, or scrap iron or a woodpile. Always right where you need to look.
PS_He did a pretty good likeness of you in the last picture.
Yea, not to far off!
Is that the "Art of Surveying"?
I am jealous of the time spent surveying with your boy. I can't wait till my men are old enough and hope they have an interest in what I do.
I am not jealous of that snow! 70 and cloudy here today.
We have another big storm coming in this weekend. This one is straight out of the Gulf of Alaska. We expect snow down to 1000' or lower (we could get a dusting on the valley floor). This is unusual for California. 2000' could get a foot of wet heavy snow which is a huge problem for them. The ski areas should get a really nice load of light powder.
Dude - Maybe yoga isn't for you;)
Don't take offense too that - The pic brought a smile to my mouth;
Time to break out the old cutting torch and slice your way into the ice dome.
Looks indeed as a great day for both,
always fun if the kids are interested in what dad is doing
thanks for sharing!

I was reading the newspaper when a big gust hit and I heard a loud noise. Uh oh. Went out to check the roof, it wasn't the roof. My roof patch is holding. I need to check the back of the roof but that faces north and our storms come with south winds here so it is less likely to get shingles picked up and blown away. I think it was just a roll up blind that swung out and hit something, sounded worse than it was.
