Not quite. The obvious idea is that most of the matters of land surveying practice are subject to some uncertainty. These obviously include matters of measurement and it should also be obvious that interpretations of history beyond the personal knowledge of a surveyor tends also to be uncertain to some extent.

For example, a surveyor assembles a particular pattern of facts that lead him or her to conclude that a particular corner described in a writing is in some specific location. The facts before the surveyor usually cannot be shown to be a complete set of every relevant fact, so there is necessarily some uncertainty surrounding conclusions drawn from them. That should be obvious.

I just went from rushing to complete 41 well location plats to having one project in my inbox this morning. I suppose everyone else must have slowed down too, to be spending this much time online giving Kent a hard time (to be fair, duly earned).

Yes, it was and it was good, solid Texas rain, not that misty Pacific NW stuff.

Yes, I've worked in the rain and not gotten wet...

http://www.thenewstribune.com/news/weather/article165896112.html&apos ;">It hasn't rained in Seattle for 51 days; it looks like we will go at least another week.

The smoke from the BC fires is stifling...

It did rain for about 20 minutes, a little over a week ago, in Puyallup.
