Have you tried running SurvPC on your Surface yet? I'm looking to use it as a potential data collector. I'm curious as to the bluetooth range.
Have you had any snags with it?

I ran a full version of Carlson software on it for a couple of weeks for testing purposes. I really didn't notice any problems per se, but then I didn't test every little feature that someone actually using it for work would. The intent was to write a review article to post here but I just haven't had time to follow-up. I can say that my testing was very promising.
However, the testing did not include SurvPC. Sorry. 🙁
