I was transferred to a new department and they gave me an old TSC3 from my predecessor. Our work requires a lot of photos to go with topo shots. Normally, you shoot the point, then goto the camera screen, take a photo, and then a menu comes up asking what you want to do with the photo. However on my 'orphan' TSC3 after taking the photo this menu does not come up, it just goes back to whatever you were doing before. Has anyone else had this problem? Any way to fix it? As it is now at the end of the day there are a whole bunch of photos on my collector that I have to manually associate with the points.

I do not know what software you are using, but in my Ranger 3, running Survey Pro, in Job Settings, I believe there is an option to prompt you to take a picture after the shot.

In order to get an answer to this you're going to have to specify what version of what software is on the TSC3.

When you create your new job, or in the properties of your existing job, go to page 2 (bottom right corner) - there's a setting for Media File, make sure that it's set to Previous Point and that when you click on it to set that the box below that says "Show with new media file" is checked.

Regarding the pix you already have - there's a XLS style sheet called Media Report that will create a lovely HTML report of what image files are associated with what point numbers.

If you're eligible you should update your software, the current is 2016.02.
