Hello all,

I am trying to review some of the raw data files via Carlson 2014. I am using a Trimble TSC3 data collector with Survey Access. When I go to import the Trimble .dc file it prompts me that there is a -40mm offset found and then asks me if it should adjust the points by the prism offsets. I have used other prism with different offsets on the job as well. Am I supposed to say yes to this prompt, and if so will it affect the other prisms within the raw data?

Thanks for the help.

Hi,

there are some ways to review the raw data
1. on the TSC3, CTRL-R for review
2. create a custom export on the TSC3 in html format, it will open in your browser. you can transfer this file to the pc. (Choose Survey report as report format and you'll find all you need.
3. you can create the same reports on the pc once you transferred your job file. You'll need to install the Trimble ascii File Generator for this.
