So we've got Trimble Access on a couple of the data collectors & wanted to give the field crews some flexibilty in having more on their data collectors so they could see a better picture of what they're staking rather than constantly having to plot out paper maps that get destroyed pretty quickly. I saw one of those youtube videos (see below) explaining how Trimble Link was able to become an add-on in Civil 3D and help export Civil 3D entities such as Alignments, Parcels & Feature Lines directly into Trimble Access (or so I thought). However, I've followed the steps in the video & yet the Trimble Link tab won't show up on my ribbon/menubar in C3D. anybody had this issue before? am I missing something obvious?

?ÿ

On the command line type in "startsurveylink".?ÿ This is where I used to download our data collectors at one time.?ÿ I don't think you will find it in there but you never know.

never mind.... stupid me didn't realize that the add on had installed but I had to use the CUI command to actually add the Trimble Link tab to my ribbon... For anybody trying to figure this out here a link on how to do so:
