Hello,

I hope you are doing well.
I am reaching out regarding legacy software required for one of my field devices.

I own a Trimble Yuma 2 tablet equipped with the internal 2.4 GHz radio, which I use to control a Trimble SPS730 robotic total station. Due to hardware limitations, this device is only compatible with:

- Trimble Access 2016.12
- Trimble Installation Manager (TIM) version 3.1 or 3.2

Newer versions of TIM or Trimble Access are not supported on this hardware, and therefore I am unable to install or activate the required software through the current Trimble Installation Manager.

I kindly request access to the installation files or an official download link for:

1. Trimble Access 2016.12 (Windows version)
2. TIM 3.1 or TIM 3.2

These versions are essential for operating my equipment in the field.

Thank you very much for your assistance.
I appreciate your support in accessing these legacy files.

Best regards,
Ali

Greetings,

I have been thinking about your issue, and I have had a word with some very knowledgeable friends. We all agree...

While the Juma 2 is a great device, it is old. More than twelve years. And it only runs win7 which is not security wise. Trimble stopped supporting ('discontinued') it long ago.

We also agreed that you will not be able to find a copy of TIM 3.1 or 3.2 - and even if you did, it would just go and update itself.

What MIGHT work is to use the offline installer builder ( https://taimoffline.t-iserv.com/OfflineInstallationWeb/ ), download the result, turn off all networking (so it cant update), run and see what you get. Hopefully the installable will work with win7.

We also agreed that Trimble would see this as a sales opportunity for their new T110X tablet. If you are quick it may be possible to transfer your Access licence - this offer is almost certain to go away soon

And may I take this moment to remind you - too late - of the importance of backups - there's two sorts of surveyor - those who have lost data, and those that will.

Good luck
