I don't think the Hiper + has a USB port. It does have a serial port. No driver needed for serial.

If I understand what you are asking, you can buy a serial to usb adapter. I recommend one containing the FTDI chip as the resulting com port will remain the same each time you plug it in and there is no real vs fake Prolific chip driver problems. Windows 10 will automatically find the correct drivers. You just have to go into the ports section of Windows Device Manager to see which COM port the FTDI chip has selected. You can change the com port number if necessary right there, particularly if it is higher than the GPS software will allow.

I purchased the Hiper+, and it came with a USB adapter but my computer (Windows 10) could not find the receiver when I connected the them. I also purchased a 9 pin serial cable but the computer still did not recognize the receiver.  I have been searching around on the internet to see if I can find the firmare for the receiver to see if that fixes the problem.  Any additional suggestions?
